Fixed Prices on Trees and Plants
The Great Big Tree Auction for Kansas City has been wildly successful thanks to all of you who have come out, bought trees and helped local Kansas City charities. The demand for our trees has been unexpectedly high so we decided to allow you to buy as many trees as you want at fixed prices! All you have to do is buy one item at the live auction and then you can buy as many trees in our fixed price area as you want!
The fixed price trees and plants area will be open to all of those who have made a purchase at auction in the past (please bring your reciept) from Monday through Wednesday 8am to 6pm at our auction location.

Instructions for purchasing fixed price trees and plants...
Register at the auction with Countrywide Tractor Auctions to receive a bidder's card so that you can bid on items in the live auction (see Live Auction Procedures).
Make a purchase during the live auction (see Live Auction Procedures). A purchase in the live auction is required to earn the ability to make unlimited purchases from the $50 trees, $80 trees and plants sections.
Once a purchase from the live auction has been made, check out and pay for your live auction items with Countrywide Tractor Auctions. You will need your paid receipt to purchase from the fixed price trees and plants.
Present your paid live auction receipt to one of the auction staff stationed at the pre-priced tree or plant area of your choice. Tell that person which lot numbers you would like to purchase and they will assist you with marking those lots as sold (indicated by writing your bidder's number on the lot tag) as well as providing you with an itemized ticket of your purchases. Only auction staff may mark your bidder's number on the lot tag, please do not do this yourself.
Take your itemized ticket of fixed price tree and plant purchases to the Garden Center (red hoop house) to check out. You will go through a separate check out with Instant Shade to pay for your purchase of fixed price trees and plants. All items must be paid for the day of the auction.
Once all items are paid for, you may either proceed to the load out area to load up and take your purchases with you, come back to pick up your purchases at a later date (within two weeks) or make arrangements with Instant Shade to have your purchases delivered and/or installed (see Pick Up Procedures). Additional fees apply to delivery and installation services from Instant Shade. All items not removed from the auction site by 2 weeks after the purchase date will be forfeited and no refund will be given.
Please note: All $50 and $80 trees are sold individually or in pairs (clearly marked) and fixed price plants are sold in lots of multiples (usually lots of 5, 10 or 15) of the same plant. The price published and marked on signs is per plant, if you purchase a lot, it is times the money (i.e. 5 plants at $8 each = $40)
