The Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City
The Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City is a non-profit 501 c 3 organization whose mission is to provide support and resources for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. DSG seeks to provide the entire community with information and education to broaden awareness and foster positive attitudes regarding people with Down syndrome.
Approximately one in every 691 babies is born with Down syndrome. There is wide variation in the abilities, physical development, behavior, and personalities of individuals with Down syndrome. These individuals benefit from loving homes, appropriate medical care, early intervention, inclusive education, positive attitudes and community acceptance.
By participating in the Great Big Tree Auction, you can help support the important work DSG does every day to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the professionals who serve them. Your purchases will help DSG provide the following vital programs and services:
